Every year, for over twenty years, Jammin’ Jeff has hosted an annual musical event for his June birthday in the southern hills of New Mexico. This year, Thea & The GreenMan with special guest Danny Prater (bass) and Greg Gordon (harmonica) were invited to be part of the lineup. Jeff’s studio is a museum full of memorabilia, including keepsakes from the years he spent with Bo Diddley as his guitar player. You can read more about Jeff on my Substack post, Jammin’ After All These Years. Because Jeff has been diagnosed with 4th stage kidney cancer, I arranged to have the event professionally videotaped by Eitra Kennedy. You can listen to Jammin’s set on our Thea & The GreenMan YouTube channel - and please be sure to subscribe. But I wanted to share our set with you, my Substack subscribers. I feel blessed to have my health and to still be able to bring you the gift of music. Your upgraded paid subscription of $5/month helps make it possible. Thank you, and enjoy!
